The College of Technology and Aviation's College Center Conference room is available to any outside groups or state agencies.

Conferences must fall into one of the three following categories:
• Educational
• Training
• Research

Several groups have used the conference center yearly. Those groups include: The Salina Regional Health Center; The Educational Cooperative; KSU Extension Office; and the Kansas Department of Transportation Certified Inspector Training program. This large, comfortable facility can be set-up in any number of styles:

"Banquet Style "
There are 8 chairs to a round table allowing for a total of 120 people. The head table can seat up to 6 comfortably using two longer banquet tables. This room can also be divided into two smaller rooms providing a discussion room on one side with a separate room for meals on the other side.

"Auditorium Style"
 This set-up allows for up to 250 people to be seated in comfort, view a videotape, see projections on the large screen behind the podium or participate in a lecture.

“Classroom Style”
This arrangement allows about 125 people to be seated at tables for teaching purposes.

The College Center Conference room boasts the latest sound and video equipment including lapel microphones, portable microphones for question and answers, a data projector for Power Point presentations, video taped information or satellite downlinks. There is also easy access to the campus cafeteria for those who would be interested in eating on campus.

There are several variations of these set-ups that can be selected. Some groups have used tables in a "U" shape for ease in lecture/discussion. Others have used tables in a square shape for meetings. Larger groups ask for 3 tables across the front of the room with the rest of the room set auditorium style. While another group may use a combination of tables, some for display, others for discussion groups.
