Construction Engineering Technology

This program prepares students to immediately play an integral role in the successful delivery of construction projects. Courses cover topics such as computer applications, design, drafting, materials, estimating, safety, surveying, and project management.  Careers could include being an estimator, field engineer, project engineer, project manager, or project superintendent. 



Academic Curriculum

The program is built upon a strong foundation of science, mathematics, applied technical courses and interpersonal communications designed to meet current industry needs. Courses in technical graphics with CAD (surveying, material testing, construction computer applications, electrical and mechanical systems, engineering economics and estimating) provide a broad range of technical skills with which to pursue a career in the construction industry. These are complemented by required and elective courses in communications, management, humanities, social sciences or business.
