Web Development technology

Download a brochure to learn more about our program.

The web development technology program builds a foundation in computer science, applies these concepts to the world of e-commerce and website development, and provides students with courses in programming and network administration. All students take introductory classes in operating systems and program design.

Students interested in programming obtain experience with client-side programming, server-side programming, database integration, and other ways to make the web an effective tool for business.

Students also learn project planning management and the use of timetables and other organizational techniques to complete projects. Software tools like Flash, Dreamweaver, and FrontPage are also utilized, but the program will emphasize solutions from a programming perspective. Current issues of information privacy and security are also highlighted and students learn how to secure and store sensitive information.
