Wildcat Fly-In. Rub elbows and eat some pancakes with K-State pilots and mechanics of the past, present, and future. Ramp and maintenance teaching hangar.

Chemistry lab demonstrations. Civil Lab.

Explore the physics of softball. See how physics plays into one of America's favorite pastimes. Step in to take a few swings! Thaemert Field.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Ever wanted to take a hammer to that bucket of bolts you call a computer? Here’s your chance. Take out your frustrations courtesy of one of our student clubs. Lawn between the Tech Center and Civil Lab.

ACM hot dog sale. Get ‘em while they’re hot! You’ll work up an appetite checking out all our cutting-edge equipment. Outside Tech Center lobby.

Command central
The College Center is Salina’s Open House headquarters. Stop by to pick up your maps, check out our clubs, and get a taste of purple pride—ice cream, that is!

Get the official view of campus, from classrooms to student hangouts. Stop by the residence halls to take a tour. Meet current students, and check out what student living is all about. Start out in the College Center.

Fly the university jet
See what it’s like to take K-State’s jet for a spin—without ever leaving the ground. K-State’s flight instructors will be on hand to show you the ropes. 144 Aviation Center.

Target practice
Test your aim by using a cannon built by our students. We’ll supply you with the Cat Cannon, some water balloons, and the targets—which might be suspiciously shaped like mascots from other universities! Thaemert Field.
