During Orientation & Enrollment you will:
• Get your K-State ID picture taken
• Enroll in classes.
• Meet with an academic advisor.
• Talk to current K-State at Salina students.
• Hear from career services and learn about on-campus jobs.
• Learn about student services – from academic achievement to financial aid.
• Tour campus and get a feel for college life.
Placement tests
To ensure an accurate and smooth enrollment process, all students are strongly encouraged to submit their ACT results to K-State or arrange a placement test in advance of the orientation and enrollment program they are attending. To arrange a placement test contact the Academic Achievement Center at 785-826-2608.
Tuition & fee payment
The orientation and enrollment program does not include the payment of fall fees or tuition. The fee payment process will be explained during the program. Fall 2008 classes begin August 25.
How to Register
1. Choose your orientation and enrollment date from the list below. If your choice is full, you will be assigned the closest available date and notified of the change.
(Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Your day will end by mid to late afternoon.)

- Thursday, June 12
- Friday, June 13
- Monday, June 16
- Tuesday, June 17
2. Complete the registration form, and return it with your payment to the K-State at Salina Office of Admissions by the registration deadline. ( Please contact Admissions if you do not have a registration form. 785-826-2640)
3. Make sure your ACT or placement test results and transcripts have been submitted to:

(Note: You must be admitted to K-State before attending this orientation and enrollment program.)
4. A confirmation letter, campus map, temporary parking permit, and schedule will be sent to you once your registration is received.
Payment
The $20 per student includes lunch, T-shirt, and program materials. The guest charge of $10 includes lunch and program materials. Additional T-shirts are $5 each. Payment may be made to K-State at Salina by personal check or money order. Please enclose the payment with your registration form.
