SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT:

Sarah Wendt
sae3@k-state.edu

Sarah Wendt is new to the Upward Bound program this year, but not so new to K-State at Salina. Sarah was a student here from 2004 to 2005 and served as a student worker in several offices here on campus. Sarah focused on a degree in Business while also persuing an interest in marketing. Sarah was born and raised in Salina and remains active in her community.

Being a part of the Upward Bound program is important to Sarah as she is very adamant about the importance of education and continuing on to college after high school. Sarah is a first generation college student and understands that it is not always easy but in the end the reward is well worth it.

In her spare time Ms. Wendt enjoys spending time with her family and taking “mini vacations” as she calls them. Sarah also enjoys tinkering around the house and loves garage sales, shopping, the car wash, flowers, coffee, chocolate, Mexican food, and Colorado in the summer.
