Candy Canes and Airplanes

Join us to explore all things aviation and welcome Santa to Salina!

Date: Saturday, December 2, 2023
Time: 1-4 p.m., doors open at 1 p.m. Watch Santa arrive at 3 p.m.
Location: Hangar 600, 2720 Arnold Ave., Salina, KS 67401

See K-State, military, and civilian aircraft and participate in activities hosted by K-State Salina student clubs, including:

• Holiday-themed aircraft display
• Fly in K-State Salina's flight simulators
• Ornament decoration
• Flying mini drones
• Santa flies in at 3 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public, donations are greatly appreciated to help our student organizations fund Candy Canes in Airplanes next year.

About

Kansas State University Salina Campus hosts Candy Canes and Airplanes every year on the first Saturday in December. The community is invited to this holiday event to greet Santa as he flies into Salina. Student clubs and organizations will host different types of activities, including holiday, aviation and K-State-themed events.
