Aviation Fixation 2.0

Experience the life of a pilot and enhance your aviation knowledge with the K-State Salina Flight Team.

Program highlights include:

Fly in a Kansas State Salina plane
Flight planning, including use of aerial maps and meteorology
Pre-flight check of aircraft
Pilot communication workshop

Registration Information

Registration is limited to 20 participants.

Dates: June 4-6, 2024

Times: 12:45-5:15 p.m. daily

Grade: Students entering 6-8th grade

Cost: $375 per participant

Registration includes all program supplies and instruction, flight on day three, t-shirt, pilot wings, and a daily snack.

Summer Program Cancellation Policy

In the event the minimum number of registrations are not met, three (3) weeks from the start date of the program, the program will be cancelled and all payments will be refunded immediately.

Refund Policy

Full refunds will be issued to those canceling registration up to eight (8) weeks from the start date of the summer program. Fifty (50) percent refunds will be issued to those canceling registration between eight (8) weeks and five (5) weeks from the start date of the summer program. No refunds issued after five (5) weeks from the start date of the summer program.
