K-State Salina Tenfold Scholars Program

Our campus is committed to the academic goals of outstanding students and will be offering the first ever valedictorian scholarship in Kansas. The Tenfold Scholarship will provide 10 exceptional students annually with tuition, room and board, and a new laptop!

Scholarship Requirements

Top students are encouraged to start the process early; eligible recipients must follow these requirements:
• Apply to K-State Salina and submit a supplemental Tenfold Scholarship application by the December 1 priority deadline of your senior year of high school.

• Must be named valedictorian of a Kansas public or private high school by April 1 of your senior year.

• A school official must verify student's rank and overall good standing.

• Must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.95 and a minimum score of 32 on the ACT or 1420 on the SAT.

• Complete an onsite interview at K-State Salina and provide two letters of recommendation from non-family members.

Financial Value

The total possible value of the Tenfold Scholarship is $56,732 (fees and books not included).

The scholarship, which is awarded to up to 10 valedictorians yearly, will cover the cost of tuition for four years of full-time study, room and board for the recipient's freshman and sophomore years, and a laptop not covered by other grants and scholarships.

Renewability Requirements:

The Tenfold Scholars Program is eligible for renewal for up to three years (four years or eight semesters total). To be eligible for renewal, recipients must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 while being a continuous, full-time enrolled student at K-State Salina and complete a minimum of 24 credit hours each academic year.
