Programs and Events

To help students prepare for their career, we offer a number of educational programs throughout the academic year. We also provide students and employers the opportunity to connect directly through our career fairs and employer networking events. These events occur both in-person and virtually.

 

Fall 2021 Community Kick-Off

Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2021
11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

This event is designed to provide an opportunity for local Salina businesses and organizations to connect with students to:

  • Share community resources
  • Recruit for part-time jobs
  • Promote products and services
  • Increase brand recognition
  • Network
  • Improve prospects for organizational growth and collaboration!

Companies only need to register once and may send up to four representatives to the event. Cost is $15 per representative (covers the cost of lunch). Students may attend for FREE! For questions about the event, please contact Sarah Werner at sarahdwerner@k-state.edu.

Students are also able to attend any career fairs or networking events hosted by the Career Center in Manhattan. View a listing of these events.

Pre-Career Fair Events

Many employers decide to host their own meet-ups or networking events prior to the career fair. If you are interested in hosting a pre-career fair event, please contact the Director of Career Services.
