Learn About Our Mechanical Engineering Technology
Having the experience of competing nationally against your peers allows you to be challenged in new ways while giving you the opportunity to apply your knowledge and skills from the mechanical engineering technology program.
Three K-State Polytechnic students and one graduate of the campus competed against other U.S. colleges in season three of “Make48,” an invent-a-thon filmed for television. The team traveled to Baltimore, Maryland where they had 48 hours to plan, prototype and pitch a product idea.
The show learned about our MET students’ 5,000-square-foot engineering lab on campus and thought the uniqueness of the makerspace deserved to be highlighted. Watch where Wildcats’ can create whatever they are dreaming up!
