By participating in the Professional Pilot Jump Start program, students gain a valuable advantage — saving time, reducing costs and positioning themselves as top notch candidates for admission to the K-State Salina aviation program.
Jump start your aviation journey by learning the Federal Aviation Administration's, or FAA, minimum requirements, safety standards, troubleshoot and solve problems, and learn how to make ethical decisions.

K-State Salina's professional pilot program is rooted in all things safety. From the full-time certified mechanics who regularly inspect and maintenance aircraft, to the instructors who embody safety in every moment, students will learn all the safety regulations that are expected by the FAA.
