Social Work Wildcat Conference
Join us for the Social Work Wildcat Conference hosted by Kansas State University Salina. The focus of this year’s virtual conference will center around diversity and the LGBTQ+ population.
The conference aims to discuss ways social workers and other helping professionals can create safe and affirming environments. This conference will be beneficial to both helping professionals wanting to gain a better understanding, as well as those who are interested in enhancing their skills in family mediation, social policy advocacy, and how to best recognize intersections with ethnicity, sexuality, disability, spirituality, and socio-economic class.
Workshop attendees will include helping professionals representing social work, mental health/addiction counseling, children and family, community activism and similar fields. Participants will represent a variety of fields and levels of experience.
