Why our program?

This graduate ccertificate is designed to help de-mystify the FAA’s complex processes from type certification, airworthiness certification (including continued airworthiness), Supplemental Type Certification (STC), Parts Manufacturing Approvals (PMAs), to Technical Standard Orders (TSOs). Students will be instructed by professors with years of industry experience and the connections to the industry that can help elevate their network.

 

Program Details

Classes for this certificate are taught exclusively online. Students will take the certification core of the MSA and will obtain the requisite skill to surpass their peers and quickly get up to speed on this task. Courses include a foundation aviation regulatory course, an introductory certification course, an advanced certification course, and project management to tie it all together. The graduate certificate in Aerospace Certification can either be a stand-alone certificate or lead directly into K-State Salina's Master of Science in Aeronautics degree.
